Senior Estimator Salary & Benefits
Salary: £100,000 to £120,000 Holidays: 25 days plus Bank Holidays Employee Ownership Trust: bonuses based on company performance (not guaranteed) - can earn up to £3,500 bonus tax-free on those payments, depending on length of service and seniority of position. In-house gym and weekly masseuse Standard Pension Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Senior Estimator Job Overview
Joining the Pre-Construction team and reporting to the Director. Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for groundworks and steel frame projects, including excavation, drainage, foundations, and site preparation. Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and bids for projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines. Work with junior estimators, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality work. Delegate tasks effectively within the estimating team to meet deadlines and project goals. Use Bluebeam and Excel to enhance efficiency and accuracy of estimates.
Senior Estimator Job Requirements
Significant estimating experience within the Groundworks / Steel Frame sectors. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Excellent understanding of groundworks processes, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar software. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in estimates. Commutable distance to Welwyn Garden City - Position office-based with no hybrid working available.
