Senior Event Operations Manager (Crowd Safety)
Fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Senior Operations Manager who has experience in crowd operations management at large scale events. The company With a pedigree in delivering large scale outdoor and public facing events this team know what they are doing when it comes to mass participation. Working within a well known space the events range from public festivals, outdoor events and more! Due to a super busy schedule of events we are now supporting with the hire of a Senior Operations Manager to join their event operations team and lead the crowd operations management. The role This is a busy role where you will work closely with the event operations team to lead the strategic planning across crowd management, control and safety for large scale outdoor events. From implementing the on-site crowd control measures, signage and entry / exit points you will also be the lead contact for planning all casual and freelance staff for crowd control at the events. Budget management, liaising with suppliers as well as the event security teams are all part of this role, alongside managing and communicating with multiple stakeholders in the organisation and wider teams. About you We are looking for a deep level of experience within the large scale events industry working on major public, mass participation or sporting events ideally within greenfield sites. You will have Level 5 in Crowd Safety Management or Level 4 Certificate in Spectator Safety Management and be able to put together a strategy as well as an operational delivery plan for crowd safety and flow within a large scale event setting. You thrive in a high pressure environment and love working to tight deadlines within a team environment, with the ability to juggle many projects at once. IOSH or other health and safety qualifications needed. Seniority level:
