Senior Facilities Manager

Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Senior Facilities Manager to join our highly skilled and dynamic team. This pivotal role will mostly be onsite at our office in Bicester (4 days per week with 1 remote day); however, you will need to travel to various other locations within the UK. As our Senior Facilities Manager, you will: Provide leadership and direction for the UK estate portfolio, ensuring all buildings are maintained to high standards. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all facilities. Oversee contracts and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple sites. Maintain high standards of building maintenance and operational efficiency across all properties in the estate. Develop partnerships with contractors, service providers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality services efficiently and cost-effectively. Implement preventative maintenance programs and property planning to ensure sustainability and resilience of the estate. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in facility management practices, promoting sustainable and efficient operations. Manage the closing down of sites, overseeing dilapidation works and ensuring all lease end requirements are met. Handle escalated issues related to facility operations and maintenance, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. Implement a team structure to lead and manage a team of Facilities Managers and Coordinators. Own the Real Estate Facilities budget starting at £2 million, with potential for expansion. Create and operationalise a 24-month horizon plan covering maintenance, contracts, and legislation changes. We would like you to have: Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a mixed-use or multi-site environment. Chartered member of IWFM or international equivalent. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, IOSH managing safely or NEBOSH. Proven ability to manage landlord relations, maintaining effective communication and negotiation for favorable outcomes. Proficiency in strategic planning and process implementation. Experience in move planning and execution, ensuring seamless transitions during relocations or office reconfigurations. Proven experience of leading and managing a team.
