Title, Team and Role Summary Title : Senior Facilities Manager - BioCity Nottingham Team : Site - Parks Who Does This Role Report Into? Site Director Role Summary / Purpose and Scope The Senior Facilities Manager is responsible for the day to day running of BioCity Nottingham operations/facilities in line with the client strategy for the site. You will support the management of all operations, budgets, compliance, marketing, external positioning and exposure of the site within the academic and industry world in addition to supervising the operational teams and ensuring that the highest standards of customer services, management, maintenance and service are maintained, whilst having due regard to expenditure and current legislation. Skills, Knowledge and Values Skills (People & Technical) IOSH / Member of IWFM Building Management/Contractor management Time management & Excellent organisational skills Proven experience in the production and presentation of Client/management reports Excellent organisational skills & strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating at various levels Effective line management skills Effective PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft and Google packages Pro-active, flexible attitude to changes in the company, IT systems and the role Values & Behaviour Exhibition of MAPP Values: Avoid Ambiguity, Appreciative, Adventurous, Authentic and Accountable Self Management including showing initiative, being proactive and meeting deadlines Embracing Change including Technology Engaging with the Big Picture Great service delivery including working in partnership with internal and external individuals and good communication in written and verbally Achieving Results and Prioritise Work Innovative Solutions and Problem Solving Developing Self and Others and being willing to learn Experience and Salary Level of Experience / Certifications: A good working knowledge of H&S, environmental and statutory regulations A good working knowledge of FM in hard and soft services A reasonable knowledge of networks, building management technology, industry software, compliance platforms and PO/invoice approval systems Demonstrably strong customer service skills Proven experience in service charge budgeting Implementing processes and procedures and bringing teams through to deliver them Ability to manage contractors to ensure PPM works and reactive maintenance is carried out in line with company policies and procedures. Working closely with fellow building managers within the network to drive for improved standards and efficiencies. Riskwise (H&S compliance systems) CAFM systems. Driving License desirable Health & Safety - IOSH Essential /NEBOSH Desirable IWFM Member RICS (Facilities Management) or working towards is desirable Working Hours:

8am - 4.30pm Monday - Friday Salary Range (Based on Experience):

GBP 45,000 - GBP 55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
