to spearhead the growth of this well-established and respected firm's divorce and separation services within the private client/family team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional eager to leave a significant impact and influence the future of this flourishing Family Law department. You will have the flexibility and support necessary to thrive in this position. The ideal candidate will be a proactive Senior Associate or an individual approaching Partner level, ready to advance their career. This opportunity is particularly appealing for those considering a move from the city, seeking stimulating London-level work without the stress of commuting and extended hours. The role requires a high degree of professionalism, leadership, and expertise in family law, especially in financial remedy matters, including intricate business and partnership issues, farming families, and armed forces pensions. Key Responsibilities include:- Oversee a portfolio of intricate divorce and separation (ToLATA) cases, including those with international aspects, business assets, and trusts. Offer expert legal counsel on a diverse array of family law issues, such as matrimonial finance, child arrangements, and prenuptial agreements. Formulate and execute strategies to improve the department’s services and enhance client satisfaction. Mentor and guide junior lawyers and support staff within the team. Collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive service to clients. Engage in business development initiatives, including networking with potential clients and leading seminars and workshops. UK Family law experience is essential. Sponsorship is not available.
