Senior Family Support Worker

to join our team. As a Senior Family Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and support to families and children in need. As a family assessment centre, we have families staying with us for up to 12 weeks to be assessed on their parenting skills and abilities to keep their children safe. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to their well-being. Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to staff and residing individuals in various tasks and activities. Support individuals with medication management as required. Support Deputy Manager and Registered Manager with maintenance of documentation day to day information. Conduct audits and quality checks. Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals, and supervise support staff in the absence of Deputy Manager. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals and feed back to the senior management team. Document and report on individual progress and any concerns or incidents. Provide on-call support as required. Requirements:

Previous experience working with families/children is essential. Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals in need of support. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Ability to follow instructions and guidelines accurately. Patience, understanding, and a positive attitude towards challenges. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and needs. Basic knowledge of health and safety practices. Knowledge of Ofsted.
