An exciting opportunity for a highly specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist in an innovative, one-of-a-kind service with integration at its core. Bwthyn Y Ddl is a joint funded service provided by Conwy and Denbighshire Local Authorities alongside BCUHB. Main duties of the job

Working in partnership with colleagues, you will promote and coordinate a systemic model within the Bwthyn y Ddl residential unit, through the MDT and via direct work with children and their families. You will provide supervision and leadership for the systemic elements of the Bwthyn Y Ddl service, as well working collaboratively to support the continuing development of our other exciting local partnership initiatives. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply. About us

Qualifications

A recognised post graduate Family Therapy or equivalent qualification at level of Masters or higher academic award. A professional qualification in a relevant regulated profession eligible under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010 e.g. nursing, social work, clinical psychology. UKCP registration as a family/systemic Psychotherapist. Highly developed knowledge of systemic theory and practice. Knowledge of research design and methodology as practised within the field of family therapy. Knowledge of legislation and its implications for both clinical practice and professional management in relation to this client group i.e. children. Evidence of continuing professional development as recommended by the UKCP/AFT. Additional relevant academic and/or accredited therapeutic qualification. Qualification in the supervision of family and systemic psychotherapy. Experience

Substantial assessed experience of working as a registered family/systemic psychotherapist. Experience of implementing evidence based family interventions. Substantial assessed experience in relevant regulated profession e.g. nursing, social work or clinical psychology. Experience of taking full clinical responsibility for clients' care, with experience of co-ordinating care within the context of multi-disciplinary care-planning. Experience of working directly with children and young people. Direct experience of Care Coordination under the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010. Experience of teaching, training and/or supervision. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
