THE OPPORTUNITY Zenobe is looking for a proactive and driven Electrical Engineer to join the Second Life team, specifically focussing on our Portable Power offering within the business. This role will be responsible for working closely with our 2 nd

life battery partners to absorb the knowledge and apply this across our projects. You will use this expert knowledge to provide support to our future portable power customers, addressing issues on site-based units as well as our innovation centre in Portsmouth. Please note, this role involves a high level of travel. A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY Attend Sites around the country to carry out repairs, system upgrades, commissioning and maintenance. Including inspection and testing elements. React and resolve operational issues working with internal and external teams, reporting issues and resolutions to the Second Life management team. Support Zenobē management teams with complex issues and fault finding/diagnosis. Assist with the development of Portable Power products using experience gained from Field Service operations. Contribute to the development of in-house documentation on operating and troubleshooting products. Deliver training to customers around the country operating our Portable Power products. Delivery training internally to teams who support Portable Power products. Provide technical sales support in designing optimal solutions for customers. Work with Zenobē asset management team and other internal teams to develop and streamline current processes. Support assessment and onboarding of suppliers in end of life battery management space. Use technical expertise to support alternative business areas including Network Infrastructure and EV Fleets. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR An Electrical Engineer or experienced hands-on Electrician with site-based experience working safely on Low Voltage Electrical Systems. Experience working on Battery Energy Storage Systems - desirable. Experience of installing and operating generators and island grids. Apprenticeship/SVQ/NVQ or equivalent in electrical maintenance or installation field. Proven track record of technical documentation management. Knowledge and experience working with RAMS, PTW and latest Health & Safety legislation. Competent with reading and understanding schematics, wiring diagrams, SLDs. BS7671 18 th

edition certification. Valid full UK driving license. BS7909 qualification and experience desired but not mandatory. ECS Gold Card qualification and experience desired but not mandatory.
