Senior Finance Analyst Edinburgh – 2 days office/3 days from home Salary up to £48k (DOE) Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be partnered with a leading service sector client based in Edinburgh for the role of ‘Senior Finance Analyst’. This role will encompass a mixture of financial control, elements of reporting and risk management. It is ideal for a qualified accountant or suitably qualified by experience accountant. Your main responsibilities will include: Carrying out specified areas of financial reporting. Completing the ledger close process and corresponding reconciliations. Monthly balance sheet reporting. Daily P&L reporting and analysis. Completing month-end procedures, including corresponding account reconciliations. Partnering with various stakeholders across the business to provide process and system improvements, achieving consistency across the reporting process. Applications will be considered from fully qualified accountants (ICAS/ACCA/CIMA), or suitably qualified by experience accountants. Sector experience can vary, from industry/commerce, financial services or accountancy practice. This opportunity would also be suited to a newly qualified auditor with the desire to transition into their first financial analysis-focused role. It is important to have excellent communication skills to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across the business, as well as problem-solving ability. Full training will be provided to integrate those from varying sector backgrounds into the role. Hybrid and flexible working options are available, with 2 days per week in the office and the remainder from home.
