Full Time About the role We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Commercial Finance team as a Senior Finance Analyst in Portfolio & Investment. The John Lewis Partnership's Commercial Finance team aims to deliver the best possible basis for decision making to our stakeholders. The role involves driving business performance by advising, influencing, and maximizing value from investments, while also finding opportunities to manage and reduce everyday costs. This is achieved by applying strong commercial expertise and external market awareness to perform complex analysis and build dynamic financial models based on sometimes ambiguous data sets. Expected salary:

Key responsibilities Producing and delivering insights for your area of responsibility to meet time and quality standards. Performing commercial analysis and complex financial modelling to inform financial implications of various options. Collaborating with senior finance and business stakeholders to understand issues and build complex financial models. Supporting the central planning team with the development and maintenance of financial plans.
The Commercial Finance team plays a crucial role in shaping and delivering the Partnership Strategy, encouraging curiosity and collaboration among team members.
Essential skills Strong financial acumen: an accounting qualification or equivalent experience. A curious mindset: a natural drive to dig deeper and uncover insights. Analytical expertise: ability to interpret and interrogate financial accounts. Exceptional stakeholder management: outstanding communication skills.
Desirable skills Retail experience.
