Job Description
Deliver a Commercial Business Partnering service to Central Overhead departments and Central Property which incorporates proactive review and analysis of the functions, facilitates operational decision making and drives efficiency and performance improvement.
Build and maintain influential and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders including Heads of Departments and Project Managers.
Develop and manage the preparation of monthly management information in a timely manner ensuring reports are robust and accurately reflect current performance.
Deliver meaningful and insightful commentary which supports the monthly reporting and reflects key business issues.
Work with Central Overhead and Property teams to produce realistic but challenging budgets and forecasts as and when required by the Trust.
Ensure budget holders and project managers receive a Business Partnering service that enables them to understand the financial impact of project delays on project budgets and forecasts and subsequent cashflow impacts.
Provide objective challenge regarding spending plans and take a proactive role in looking for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively.
Responsible for supporting monthly accounting and forecasting of the Apprenticeship Levy working closely with the Leadership and Development team to maximise use of the fund within budget limitations.
The Successful Applicant
Educated to Degree Level;
Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA);
Experience of working in the care or 'not for profit' sector;
Experience of working for a multi-site organisation;
Experience working with Property teams as a Business Partner is essential.
