Position: Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Scunthorpe

We have an exciting new position for a motivated individual to join their team as a Senior Finance Business Partner in Scunthorpe.

You will have the opportunity to make this role your own supporting the Projects team, focusing on delivering high voltage electrical connection projects offering design, connection and maintenance services.

You will play a key role in maintaining finance governance, supporting growth targets and maximising operational efficiencies.

Role Responsibilities:

Support operational teams with cost management and investment decisions. Annual budgeting. Monthly forecasting including foresight of risks and opportunities. Ad hoc analysis and presentation of financial information in response to senior management requests. Working capital management. Month end close and balance sheet management. Monthly management reporting. Work closely with the Divisional Senior management to help drive business performance. Identify and drive financial and operational efficiency, ensuring the correct allocation of the Division's resources. Provide objective challenge to the Division's performance and plans. Provide forward-looking insight, utilising experience of the past and utilising financial and business skills. Undertake contract profitability analysis, providing insight into operations on opportunities and risks. Develop business cases and support the bid process for new business. Support business adherence to group financial governance processes. Management of direct reports. What We Are Looking For:

Driven, motivated individual. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA qualified, ideally with 4+ years commercial experience. Influential and ability to challenge decision-making. Experience working in business projects. Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, ability to prioritise a changing workload and use initiative. Good communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information. Effective at operating in a matrix environment. High level of integrity with a commitment to embedding a strong governance culture. Previous business partnering experience with a commercial focus. Able to produce concise and informative reporting under tight deadlines. Experience with SAP is desirable.
