A prominent performing arts organisation is looking for an innovative Senior Finance Manager to lead its financial strategy and ensure robust financial management. Role Overview This position will drive both strategic and day-to-day financial operations, from managing budgets and forecasts to ensuring regulatory compliance. Working closely with the Executive Team and Finance Committee, you’ll provide essential financial insights, perform scenario modelling, and conduct detailed financial analysis to support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and implement financial strategies that support the organisation’s mission.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and tax compliance, including specialised Theatre Tax Relief.
- Lead the production of statutory accounts and financial reporting across multiple entities.
- Deliver strategic financial insights, lead audits, and ensure accurate external reporting.
- Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant certification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or similar) with a finance-related degree.
- Experience: Strong leadership experience in finance, ideally within the arts or cultural sectors.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and management tools; advanced Excel proficiency.
- Communication: Skilled at translating complex financial data for non-financial leaders and guiding strategic choices.
- Organisational Skills: Efficient, deadline-oriented, and skilled at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
