Senior Finance Manager for global retail business in Blackburn, up to £67K

Your new role As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be an essential asset to the business, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures and controls. Your duties will include:

Monitoring day-to-day financial operations Reviewing financial data Preparing monthly and annual reports Providing data-backed recommendations to support effective decision-making Involvement in the year-end audit process Engaging in various project work such as automation and systems improvement

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. You should have the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be confident in developing a team. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. An ambitious and self-motivated individual will thrive in this role.
