About the Role:
Reporting into the Finance Director for FP&A at PXC, the Senior Finance Manager FP&A role is a highly diverse role which sits across our Group Finance Team. Your role will involve maintaining, developing and improving reporting to senior stakeholders at Board and Exco level.
You will also be responsible for building relationships with senior leadership and reporting accurate financial statements and analysis in the most efficient way.
This would be an ideal position for an existing FP&A Manager who is looking for their next career move into a more senior role.
What you will be involved in: Establishing and maintaining accounting policies and controls relating to financial reporting Preparing accurate financial reports including Board and EXCO level materials and also for external purposes Maintaining accounting and financial records and reports Analysis of reporting actuals numbers vs. forecasts and external market with a key understanding of PXC's position and strategy You will possess an ability to challenge the standardisation of reporting in order to improve reporting quality and processes throughout the function Ensuring systems and models are accurate and reflective of the correct outputs. This includes the ability to develop and evaluate models for accuracies, efficiency and improvements. Preparing and distributing periodic financial statements for users within the organisation Ensuring all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organisation policies Leading on cashflow modelling and analysis for all reporting processes, improving knowledge and understanding across the team and wider organisation Assisting with audit sign off Continuous improvement mentality The role provides a broad overview of finance across PXC and the wider group. The Senior Finance Manager will be required to build relationships across all other finance teams and is likely to have regular interaction with senior stakeholders across finance including CFO and Group Financial Controller.
What we are looking for:
Essential: The successful candidate will have a recognised accounting qualification. Extensive FP&A experience and knowledge. Advanced Excel Skills including financial modelling and reporting.
