Accounting Manager
Location: Brinsworth (with some travel to Uttoxeter)
Salary: £70,000 DOE
Looking to advance your finance career? We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to lead key financial functions in a dynamic and growth-focused environment. What You’ll Be Doing As our new Accounting Manager, you will oversee essential finance functions, including month-end close, credit control, and accounts payable. This role will be pivotal in ensuring robust financial controls, policies, and procedures are in place and adhered to across the organisation. You will also: Handle month-end reporting delivering accurate and timely income statements and balance sheets for Group reporting Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, providing data and insights, while addressing any findings with proactive solutions Collaborate with the integration manager to support the transition from Sage to SAP, enhancing our financial operations Establish strong working relationships within finance and across departments to support business objectives and foster collaboration Our Ideal Candidate It goes without saying that you’ll have a financial qualification such as; CIMA, ACA, ACCA (or equivalent) and experience leading financial teams. You will also: Have experience working with Sage (and SAP is a bonus!)
