Overview: Pertemps is offering an exciting opportunity for a self-driven and motivated Senior Finance Officer to join our expanding team. The role offers a competitive pay rate of 29.97 per hour Umbrella (negotiable based on experience).
Primary Responsibilities: Undertake budget preparation, budget monitoring, and closure of accounts work. Provide a range of professional financial support, advice, and information to budget managers and more senior members of the Finance Division. Complete financial and statistical returns and grant claims. Operate appropriate financial systems and administration for specific service areas. Lead and/or participate in improvement projects or matrix management projects as directed, as part of the Division's transformation and improvement agenda.
Requirements for the Ideal Candidate: Experience working in local government. Experience in financial management support in areas such as Planning & Building Control, and Property & Facilities Management. Excellent Excel skills, with experience handling high volumes of data in spreadsheets and producing financial summaries.
