We are at an exciting time of growth and expansion and as such are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join the Egis Architecture Line.

The purpose of the role is to support the Architecture Line management team in overseeing the Financial, Commercial and Operational functions of each of the companies within the Architecture Line. The role will report directly to the Financial Director, whilst also providing support to both the COO and Managing Director.

One of key activities required as part of Architecture Line Management team involves coordinating, consolidating and analysing financial and commercial data pertaining to the performance of each of the Architectural Firms in the group - both individually and at consolidated level. Performing weekly and monthly analysis of the data to enable business decisions and inform swift responses to changes in business strategy. This is needed to both enable the optimisation of the financial performance of the Architecture division as a whole, but also in order to effectively communicate status, progress and performance to the wider Egis Group.

Job Description

The duties will include but not limited to:

Assisting in financial modelling, budgeting, consolidating and forecasting activities. Collating, analysing and interpreting data to provide insights and recommendations. Preparing detailed reports on financial performance, trends, and variances. Supporting the development of financial presentations for management and stakeholders. Conducting industry and market research to contribute to strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. Financial analysis to support M&A integration across the sector Monitoring and evaluating financial processes to identify areas for improvement. Staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Practice qualified accountant with demonstrable post qualification experience Relevant experience in a professional services environment within design, construction, engineering or architectural sectors is highly beneficial Experience in preparing monthly / quarterly reporting Experience in consolidation and working in multi-entity / multi-cost-centre / multi-region environments Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and proficient in financial modelling Very strong MS Excel skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities, and ability to work to tight deadlines Strong communication and presentation skills, and experience collaborating in teams Experience in corporate finance / M&A beneficial Oracle experience beneficial Power BI experience beneficial Additional Information
