Are you an experienced Financial Accountant who is looking to join an exciting company? You will be a key player in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within a fast-paced and growing business. This role is more than just numbers - it's about delivering insights, optimising processes, and ensuring financial integrity that supports strategic decision-making. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, streamline reporting, and contribute to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Prepare and post month-end journals. Maintain general ledger accounts and perform daily reconciliations. Reconcile balance sheet control accounts and make necessary adjustments. Reconcile all bank accounts including the main account & Euro account. Analyse and process unposted payments and receipts, ensuring accurate journal entries. Manage fixed assets, including creating assets on the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and posting monthly depreciation charges. Process wholesale and retail payroll journals and reconcile payroll accounts. Ensure all necessary corrections and adjustments are completed for accurate financial reporting. Assist in the preparation of weekly cash forecasts in collaboration with Credit Control. Review and verify payments processed. Tax & Audit Compliance Support with ensuring compliance across tax streams (Corporate Tax, VAT, Customs, Employment Tax, etc.). Prepare and file UK and Irish VAT returns accurately and on time. Assist in the preparation of UK and Irish corporation tax files. Ensure compliance with customs procedures, partnering with Logistics and Customer Service for Inward and Outward Processing. Support the year-end audit process, including preparing audit files and responding to auditor requests. Assist in the preparation of yearly financial statements. Other Responsibilities Act as a deputy for the Chief Accountant in their absence. Support the CFO and Chief Accountant with ad hoc financial projects as required. Key Requirements:

Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines. Desirable (but not essential):

Experience using SAP or other ERP systems. Background in consumer, retail, or FMCG industries. BBBH32524
