The Senior Financial Accountant will: Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements Conduct variance analysis and report on key performance indicators Manage fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation calculations Lead month-end and year-end closing processes Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations Collaborate with various departments to improve financial processes Support external audits and liaise with auditors as needed Implement and maintain robust internal controls Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function The Successful Applicant The Senior Financial Accountant:
(ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years post-qualification experience - GROUP ACCOUNT exposure needed Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP Advanced Excel skills Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement Experience with lean accounting principles would be advantageous What's on Offer An estimated day rate of £400 - 450 (depending on experience) A temporary role with potential for extension A supportive and inclusive work culture Opportunities for professional growth and development Generous holiday leave
