Hays Senior Finance has been engaged by a FTSE organisation in Wiltshire to appoint a newly created position that is a blend of core financial accounting, insight and analysis to improve profitability, and provide leadership to two direct reports.
This role joins an established, talented and friendly wider team in a business that has gone from strength to strength and has exciting plans for the future - both strategic growth and internal change and development focused.
The role will include: Preparing monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and other financial documents, Planning cycles including 3YP, forecasting and budgeting, Ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting, Weekly and monthly sales and margin analysis, Evaluating profitability and recommending areas for improvement, Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to senior management, Line management and development of qualified accountants. What you'll need to succeed You will need to be a fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) finance professional with post-qualification experience in a financial accounting or management accounting position within industry.
You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and interpret financial data to non-financial managers, as well as motivate and effectively manage two qualified accountants.
