Office based in Weybridge, Surrey We are now currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Financial Accountant. The role will take ownership of the financial accounting for the Midstream Refinery and a supervisory oversight of the P2P and O2C activities. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, UK Refinery, the postholder’s key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Work in close partnership with the offshore team to ensure timely review and close of month end

accounts payable ledgers accounts receivable ledgers intercompany account reconciliations bank account reconciliations

Preparation of Month end accruals and Prepayments Preparation of monthly Variable and Fixed cost accruals Review of the Capex items and all the Fixed assets including capitalisation and Depreciation run. Support preparation of monthly reporting packs and understand key underlying business trends to support continuous financial and operational improvement Support the tax team with timely VAT return submission and payment requests Preparation of Monthly accounts for the JV entities and submission of Quarterly VAT returns. Daily stock movement reconciliation and working capital management. Support the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors Support the Vendor set up and purchasing team on Vendor Master Maintenance To actively participate in driving forward best practice and to provide support and encouragement to the members of the offshore team Other ad-hoc finance related duties Minimum Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ experience Experience in Oil and Gas - Financial Accounting preferable Advanced MS Office skills and experience in SAP R3/ECC is highly desirable. Ability to meet demanding deadlines, and adapts to business needs Excellent time management/organisational and multi-tasking skills Possess strong analytical and communication skills
