This is a fixed-term role in Visa’s Europe Controllership team, based in Paddington. The Controllership team is responsible for the accounting and finance operations of the Europe business functions and corporate accounting activities for Visa. The team is part of the broader Global Controllership function within Global Finance. The role will report to Accounting and Reporting Director and will be responsible for assisting change management, including integration, of acquired entities. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 3 days a week, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: Assist with change management and integration of acquired entities. Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of financial systems, processes, and reporting structures. Prepare US GAAP Balance sheet reconciliations. Support acquired entity accounting teams with daily tasks. Co-ordinate alignment and implementation of accounting operational procedures. Work closely with UK HUB finance team. Review accuracy of acquired entity Income Statement and Balance sheet providing explanation as needed. Interact with various levels of management within and outside of Finance and internal and external audit teams and participation in cross-functional projects will be a routine part of the job. Complete and maintain process documentation and ensure controls compliance for areas of responsibility. Qualifications

Qualifications and Competencies: Required Qualified/part qualified accountant preferred, with clear progressive professional accounting experience. Excellent level of spoken and written English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening, and presentational skills and ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels are also required. Good knowledge of all typical components of the entire accounting process with ability to work independently when required. Proficient with Oracle or similar enterprise accounting system. Proficient in utilizing Excel to efficiently analyze data. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, driving increases in efficiency / effectiveness. Familiarity with internal control compliance. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Capable of handling multiple tasks, possess good organizational, communication, and analytical skills, able to work independently, and be extremely flexible. Welcomes challenging/complex projects and demonstrates an ability for working smarter, not harder by making continuous improvement to the efficiency of processes he/she contributes to. Teamwork is essential to the group, so it is critical that the candidate interact with other team members and managers collaboratively and effectively. Desired Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline. Project management experience and related skills. Experience of systems implementation and process migration. Additional Information
