This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-impact role as Senior Financial Controller, where you’ll be at the heart of driving transformational change and leading key initiatives that will shape the future of the business. In addition to being a key member of the senior executive team, the head of finance will ensure that financial planning, analysis, and reporting are aligned with the operational objectives of the division. You will provide financial insights that enable sound business decisions, support growth, and ensure profitability, while maintaining robust governance and compliance across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a talented finance function, including qualified, part-qualified accountants and transactional teams, to reach new heights.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Executive Team, playing a critical role in delivering transformational change and business strategies that fuel growth.
  • Collaborate directly with the COO and operations teams to drive performance across the business.
  • Become an integral member of the Senior Executive Team, gaining a deep understanding of all business functions to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee the production of management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and insightful commentary to guide business performance.
  • Take ownership of annual budgets, regular reforecasts, and lead the coordination and delivery of a 5-year strategic plan.
  • Ensure robust cash management with accurate forecasting and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Manage the company’s relationship with the auditors, overseeing external audits and statutory reporting.
  • Oversee all tax and regulatory compliance matters, ensuring timely preparation of tax computations and regulatory adherence.
  • Oversee capital expenditure to support the company’s growth trajectory.
