6 We are delighted to be partnering with this world-leading insurance company that is seeking a talented Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter. This role can be fully-home-based, although there will be occasional face-to-face team meetings required in a regional office. You are welcome to attend a regional office as much as you like! Specific duties will include, but not be limited to: Underwriting large and complex renewal cases Collaborating with the Claims team Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with the Technical department and the wider business Being a growing business that listens to and implements employees’ great ideas and suggestions, you’ll have the opportunity to get involved in some really interesting ad hoc projects and make a real difference. You must have strong experience within the Professional Indemnity arena, and candidates from a variety of specialisms (such as the Professions, Miscellaneous, Tech, Life Sciences, etc.) will be considered. As you’ll be regularly dealing with brokers, you’ll have excellent communication skills, together with a good track record of maintaining and developing relationships. “I really want to stress that this is by no means a ‘dead-end’ senior underwriting role,” says the Director. “We are extremely passionate about developing our staff, and this role has the genuine potential to progress into a number of different areas, such as Product Line Management, General Management, Technical, Compliance, Sales, and more.” You’ll be rewarded with a generous basic salary (Negotiable depending on experience), plus a highly lucrative 25% bonus scheme and impressive corporate benefits, which include substantial pension contributions.
