What you'll be doing

As part of the EMEA Financial Controlling Team, the UK Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will ensure that the accounting operations are timely and accurately reported in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and will be responsible for leading the delivery of statutory accounting for UK.

The UK Senior Financial Reporting Accountant reports to the European Financial Controller and this role is based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards for UK and its branches. Lead month-end processes, including journal preparation/review, intercompany cross charges and balance sheet reconciliations. Analyse monthly financial reports (Balance sheet, P&L, Cash flow) Support the quarterly consolidation and group reporting Deliver local statutory financial statements for UK and its branches (local GAAP) Liaise with external auditors and advisors for timely completion of statutory audits. Liaise with internal auditors for timely completion of JSOX controls. Ensure timely submission of financial and non-financial information to local authorities. Support process improvement initiatives, automation and adhoc projects Support the Tax team for the preparation of the tax returns for UK legal entity and its Branches Responding to ad hoc requests What you bring to the team

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field. Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent. Skills :

Ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization. Enthusiastic with a systematic approach in analysing and solving problems Solid experience in consolidation and financial reporting in multi-location and currencies Proficient user of ERP system (S4 Hana), Consolidation system and Budget Planning systems Competent user of Excel and other Microsoft tools, i.e. Word and PowerPoint Financial modelling and good analytical skills including commentary and presentation Technical understanding of IFRS Exposure to SOX or JSOX environment Experience of providing training and knowledge sharing Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Fluency in English (additional European languages a plus). Benefits Package
