We are seeking a Senior Fine Art Technician to join our specialist team in international fine arts logistics to provide secure transportation, storage, installation and de-installation services for the world’s museums, art galleries, auction houses and private collectors. Key Responsibilities: Ensure that materials and equipment in the trucks are sufficient for the business requirements. Drive to destination and lead a team on the project. Service client’s requirements by ensuring high-quality service delivery. Facilitate good communication between the client and the Crown Coordinator. Encourage good behaviour and professionalism within the team. Ensure the loading, securing, unloading, paperwork, and processing of artworks is done correctly. Oversee art installation projects and ensure RAMS are followed. Conduct hand searches or screenings and drive secure known cargo to the airport. Chaperone couriers and their consignments. Produce Risk Assessments and Method Statements as necessary. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and wear PPE. Mentor new staff as directed by the Operations team. Handle art, including packing, unpacking, and installation to a high standard. Complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with specific jobs. Support the Operations team with clear instructions on job requirements. Skills/ Experience: High level of professionalism and customer service. Knowledge of transporting high-value items is essential. AVSEC awareness to COS level is an advantage. Forklift license is advantageous. 3.5t driving license and experience are required. HGV 2 qualification is an advantage. 5 years’ experience in art handling, warehouse, packing, or driving. Flexibility with early starts and late finishes as requested by the Operations Manager. First aid certificate. PASMA trained. IPAF trained. Fire Marshall trained. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and driven by success. Able to work independently and under direction.
