Services and Solutions PURPOSE OF JOB:

As part of the Bytes License Services team, the Senior FinOps Consultant will be responsible for supporting the definition & ongoing delivery of our Managed FinOps v2.0 service. The role acts as the technical SME (subject matter expert) for all FinOps matters relating to Azure & 365 across the delivery team alongside providing wider Consulting based delivery guidance. This role acts as a critical support to the Head of FinOps in helping to align longer term strategic roadmap planning with delivery upskilling planning, ensuring we have the right training & certification plans across the team to support our GTM & Proposition roadmap goals. While supporting as a technical SME for the team, personal responsibilities will also include client delivery of high profile / larger Managed FinOps delivery project delivery. Key Strategic Activities: Technical SME for FinOps team (Azure & 365). Support Head of FinOps as required on Project work. FinOps Delivery Activities: Own Customer Deliveries for full length of service. Ensure all customer deliverables are to the highest quality and delivered in an agreed upon time. Key FinOps activity and giving input into service improvements from the customer perspective. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for our customers and Bytes Sales teams. Managing the work schedule for deliverables in alignment with BAU tasks, team goals and management priorities. Delivering thought-leadership for cloud optimisation engagements; submitting enhancement/evolutionary suggestions for changing existing defined service specifications based on customer feedback, toolset development and changes to best practice and industry standards - thereby contributing to the continuous service improvement effort. Ensuring relationships are established and maintained with members of the Services team and specifically colleagues delivering similar, related or dependent services. As the requirements of the business and our customers change, this job profile, duties, responsibilities, and locations of the role (both geographically and within the business organisational structure) will be adjusted accordingly. The Consultant will be required to perform any other duties assigned to them by their line management team that are commensurate with the existing role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ownership of task from assignment through to delivery. Effective contribute to the overall delivery of FinOps services. Using initiative to highlight anomalies or relationships in datasets. Build and maintain effective working relationship with customers. Development and maintenance of knowledge and process library. Proactively support and identify service improvement initiatives. WIDER TEAM NETWORK: (WHICH TEAMS WILL THE POSITION WORK WITH DIRECTLY AND WHO WILL THEY RELATE TO EXTERNALLY) Internal: Bytes Account Management team Bytes Data Engineering team Bytes Project Management Office Bytes Service Desk Bytes Services Division External: Software Vendors Customers QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Educational Qualifications: Minimum 5 x GCSE’s at A*-C University equivalent level degree Professional Qualifications: FinOps Foundation Professional Certification MCP in Volume Licensing for Large Organisations MCP in Software Asset Management (SAM) AWS cloud certifications Years of Experience: 5-10 years in a customer facing role where Microsoft 365 / Azure have been prominent 5 years working in a project delivery function with experience of managing and delivering services to customers 2-5 years wider traditional Consulting experience Highly Desirable: Competent in the use of Excel to display data and present reports Confident presenter and speaker Good level of understanding in the creation of Power BI reports
