Job Description:
What you will be doing:
- Training groups of new firefighting recruits in both classroom and practical environments
- Instructing new recruits in operational and Road Traffic Collision Incidents (RTCI) as well as the fundamentals of fire fighting
- Ongoing assessment of delegates
- Acting as Safety Officer during live fire exercises - always promoting a positive attitude towards the development and maintenance of Health and Safety culture
- Previous experience of training New recruits in a firefighting training environment
- Experience of working in local authority Fire & Rescue Service is desirable
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of IT Systems experience (MS Office)
