Working with electrical, electronic, mechanical and compliance engineering teams, you will be responsible for developing the code base for the myenergi ecosystem. You will also work closely with the software development team to ensure the continued evolution of cloud services and APIs. You must be disciplined, self-motivated, a fast learner, and capable of running a small team of developers when required on a project-by-project basis. Responsibilities:

Develop firmware for existing platform to add new features and bug fixes. Work within the firmware team to develop the infrastructure for new and existing products. Work with the Firmware Development Manager and Lead Engineer for Security and Communications to create solutions for the continually evolving security requirements in IoT. Participate in Peer Reviews with colleagues. Manage and organise own work through use of tools such as Jira and GitHub. Participate in team meetings and stand-ups. Document and present work, with occasional team demos. Manage small teams of developers when required. Qualifications & Experience:

Embedded C firmware development FreeRTOS Espressif ESP32 (IDF) development platform Object-oriented design AWS IoT core Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi development Messaging protocols (HTTP/S, MQTT) Messaging formats such as JSON or protobuf PKI, certificate provisioning and security with embedded devices Version control systems (e.g. GIT or SVN) Writing and maintaining unit tests Good Communication and Collaboration Skills Highly Desirable:

Mesh networking (such as Zigbee/Thread/Lora radio) Embedded Linux development TI and PIC MCU Development Embedded Bare-Metal programming CI pipeline and associated tools Working in an Agile/Scrum environment Salary:
