Join Siemens Financial Services (SFS) as a Senior FP&A Analyst based in Stoke Poges and be part of our UK Commercial Finance FP&A team, also known as Performance Controlling. In this position, you'll have a pivotal role in improving the delivery of our 5-year Business Plan and Forecasting processes, while enhancing the analysis capabilities of our FP&A UK team. You will make an impact by: Taking ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and other performance controlling functions, collaborating directly with the Management and Leadership Teams to drive business performance. Assisting in the delivery of the 5-year business plan, budgeting, and forecasting of SFS Commercial Finance (COF), engaging with local and global colleagues to provide context and insight. Reviewing and reporting performance against budget plans and forecasts, providing valuable recommendations and actions to enhance performance and meet KPIs. Embedding a no-surprises culture by working closely with our finance colleagues and other teams to understand the business environment, reporting on the potential effects in a clear and timely manner. Delivering ongoing process review and improvement initiatives, working closely with the reporting and data teams to optimise the efficiency and effectiveness of reports produced. Creating greater analytical capability within FP&A by understanding the key drivers of reported profitability, other KPIs, and business drivers. Undertaking pricing and evaluation of leasing opportunities, providing critical advice on contract settlements, rate calculations, and structuring transactions to support business opportunities. Contributing to decision-making and the success of Siemens Financial Services in the UK through accurate and timely interpretation and clear communication of financial, commercial, and other data. You’ll build on your existing skills and expertise: Excellent financial comprehension, with the ability to understand complex topics, supported by natural inquisitiveness and strong attention to detail. Appreciation of the commercial elements of a financial services business, and how the finance function can provide support and control to deliver the required business outcomes. Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, high proficient in Microsoft Excel. Effective communication across all levels of the organisation, with the ability to clearly and succinctly present complex and technical issues to a range of stakeholders. Self-motivation, taking full ownership for results and demonstrating initiative. Ability to work across functions and departments with high drive and energy to achieve end results. Knowledge of data analysis tools, such as Tableau / PowerBI, desired but not required. Experience working in Financial Services required, ideally within a complex/international organisation.
