Position Overview The Senior FP&A Manager will join the existing Group FP&A team to drive forward planning processes across the group as well as providing additional support in analyzing the financials both on a monthly basis and ad hoc analysis as required. The Group FP&A team is responsible for managing both short and long-term planning processes across the organization and reviewing/challenging inputs from regional finance teams in order to produce a set of consolidated financial statements. The team takes a leading role in producing Board narrative for the financial plans and supports the long-term strategy of the organization, ensuring the financial plan mirrors the strategic direction. The Group FP&A team reviews in detail the monthly results, owning the flash reporting and board packs to highlight the key story and producing analysis to provide a greater understanding of the numbers and early visibility of implications on future months. Group FP&A is also supporting the finance transformation, including the implementation of a new ERP, increasing the level and quality of financial data available to ensure greater insight and drive decision-making. The right profile has an analytical mindset and is used to working under pressure to meet deadlines. The candidate has a good business understanding from prior jobs and understands operational processes and their link to the financials. Most importantly, the candidate needs to have a constant improvement mindset and the expertise to implement processes to streamline both reporting and planning as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities: Run the planning processes across the group including setting timetables, reviewing/challenging submissions, and presenting consolidated plans to senior leadership. Work on both short-term and longer-term planning including in-year reforecasts, annual Budget, and bi-annual 5-year plan. Scenario planning and sensitivity analysis. Build planning tools to streamline and ensure consistency of processes across the group. Improve accuracy of financial planning. Review month-end results, challenging anything which doesn’t make sense and advising on potential adjustments to the numbers if required. Produce slides and narrative appropriate for senior leadership and the Board of Directors. Support any shareholder transaction processes as required. Skills: Qualified accountant. At least 7 years of experience. An analytical thinker who can interpret complex financial data and develop financial models. Self-driven and ambitious. Highly skilled in Excel modeling; experience using BI tools is a must. Experience with planning tools (e.g. Anaplan, xxx) is beneficial. Good communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of the organization. Ability to work well under pressure in a demanding environment. Strong attention to detail. An open-minded spirit able to maintain good relationships in an international environment. The ideal candidate has knowledge of subscription-based economics and some affinity with Information Technology, analysis of operational cost base, and cross charging.
