At Improbable’s Creative Studio, we are creating the future of virtual performance & shared experiences. A truly live interactive fandom platform, engaging new audiences in music, sports, and culture. Bringing together communities in real time, solving the challenge of safely recreating the feeling of massive gatherings in a gamified shared experience.

Our mission is to empower brands and IP holders to scale their audience, engage fans, and monetise. By crafting own-able virtual worlds, immersive activations, and gaming integrations, we’re creating experiences that connect deeply with today’s audiences. With a team of game developers, filmmakers, and broadcasters, we’re reimagining entertainment. Whether hosting virtual concerts, building metaverse presences, or blending the physical and digital into unforgettable fan experiences, we bring unmatched expertise and passion to every project. Join our new and growing squad as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping a greenfield product built to handle massive bursts of user traffic while delivering a world-class user experience. This is a unique opportunity to innovate and solve complex challenges, blending cutting-edge technology with pragmatic decision making, whether that means building in-house solutions or leveraging the best off-the-shelf tools. We’re seeking an individual with strong fundamentals in serverless full stack development, who can collaborate closely with teams utilising Unreal Engine, developing solutions that integrate logically with any constraints of their workflows. Working in a small, dynamic team, the role requires a self-starter who thrives on collaboration, values developer experience and takes pride in building maintainable systems that drive rapid iteration and impactful results. Your Opportunity Collaborate as we lay the groundwork for early-stage products to evolve iteratively.

Contribute to the product roadmap, help set the vision and strategy alongside the team, and act as a sounding board for technical leadership.

Develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps.

Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.

Contribute to team strategy, tooling, process, and culture.

Advise other engineers on technologies you are an expert in.

Serverless know-how:

Practical knowledge of serverless platforms like Cloudflare Workers, AWS Lambda, or GCP Functions, with experience deploying and managing modern applications. •

Third-party integrations:

Demonstrated experience integrating with third-party tooling, such as payment platforms and user management systems. •

Self-starter mindset:

Ability to independently scope, define, and manage workloads, aligning with team strategies and goals. •

Relevant industry experience:

Any experience working in a game engine-focused business or on similar products is a strong plus While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role.
