The purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager. What you'll be doing Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures Complete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc investor queries Deal with the completion of routine audit queries and liaise with clients and intermediaries Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactions are completed within a robust control environment Maintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of accounting Ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices and other payments Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of management What we're looking for The candidate will be expected to be at least part-qualified (preferably ACCA or ACA) Comprehensive knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS Experience of the preparation of statutory financial statements is essential Experience of reviewing statutory accounts Proficient in the use of Excel, new systems and software Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential Previous experience of training, coaching/mentoring of junior staff Previous industry experience in Fund Administration is highly desirable We will provide the training, both in-house for relevant technical knowledge and also for professional qualifications to enhance your ability to provide sound accountancy services. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as we value close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts. Who are we?
