Over the years, they have raised significant funds to support research, treatments, and awareness, helping to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by cancer. Job Description Provide personalized fundraising support and motivation to participants through calls and emails, addressing queries and encouraging them to meet deadlines. Resolve issues related to online fundraising pages and general fundraising questions efficiently. Identify and support high-achieving fundraisers with tailored advice, building strong relationships to maximize success. Manage and utilize fundraising platforms like Give Star, ensuring proficiency and effective use. Collaborate with internal teams, including Events, Finance, and Social Media, to ensure smooth operations and optimize fundraising efforts. Assist with administrative tasks such as recording communications on databases, adhering to data protection policies, and analyzing information. Develop and promote fundraising activities, including community engagement, donor campaigns, and new income streams. Create and manage content for social media, emails, and the website, ensuring consistent and engaging communications. Support department volunteers and junior staff through training and management as needed. Represent the charity at events, promote opportunities, and assist in compiling reports for stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant Proven experience in fundraising with strong customer support skills, including phone and face-to-face interactions. Effective problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of current technology. Skilled in multitasking, prioritizing, and maintaining attention to detail in verbal and written work. Strong administrative background and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Comfortable with speaking confidently on the phone and building relationships with diverse individuals. Excellent communication skills across all formats, including writing, speaking, and personal interaction. Ability to motivate, influence, and inspire others while spotting and leveraging opportunities. Friendly, approachable, self-motivated, and capable of thinking creatively and adapting to challenges. Calm, flexible, and able to perform effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines. Energetic, team-oriented, with a positive outlook and a sense of humor, especially during demanding situations.
