Unit 9, Bridgewater Business Park, Gladstone Street, Blackburn, BB1 3DL Kirman Design are seeking an ambitious, talented and enthusiastic senior garden designer to join our team. We are a small design and build team that work creatively on a wide variety of exciting projects from significant private homes to roof terraces and commercial projects. We are multi-award winning designers of RHS Gold medals and won a BALI design excellence award last year. While located in Blackburn, we work across the northwest and nationally. The cities of Manchester and Liverpool are a short drive away. The Pennines, coastline and the Lake District are all within an hour’s drive of the office. We have many fine cuisine restaurants in the area, and the friendly locals make the northwest a fantastic place to live and work. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Leading design projects within pre-agreed budget and time frame. Create feasible and exciting designs that align with our design ethos and clients' aspirations. Work effectively with the Kirman team. Create all aspects of the design process from concepts through to sign-off documentation. Provide necessary specification, construction, and design documentation. Liaise efficiently with clients, contractors, and planning. Attend site meetings as required. Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and implement design work accordingly. General office administration. Company car/ability to travel to site where necessary (full UK driving license). Skill Sets: Proficient in Vectorworks, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite. Ideally possess good plant knowledge. We Offer: Occupational Sick Pay. Professional Development.
