Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer

to join the team based in

Cambridge, UK . This is a

full-time, permanent

position. The Geosciences team delivers consultancy and design services to a wide range of external clients including engineers, house-builders, oil companies, and local authorities. Responsibilities: Designing and managing a variety of geo-environmental and geotechnical ground investigation and interpretative projects for both external clients and for other teams within RSK. Soil and rock logging to current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling. Prepare H&S plans and RAMS. Preparation of Remediation Strategies including verification works on site. Establish and develop strong working relationships with new and existing clients, which is integral to the growth of the Geosciences department in Coventry and the wider business. Provide technical leadership in the day-to-day delivery of projects. Qualifications and Experience: BEng or BSc or equivalent in Civil, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar. A further degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics, or Environmental Science or equivalent is desirable. Registered with a suitable professional body and working towards Chartered status with a relevant institution (e.g., Geol Soc/CIWEM/ICE). Significant and demonstrable experience of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental investigations and reporting. Demonstrable experience and ability to prepare Geotechnical and Geo-environmental Preliminary reports. Salary and Benefits: Commensurate with experience. Contributory Pension Scheme.
