Our client, a Structural, Civil and Geoenvironmental company based in Milton Keynes, is looking for a Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer to work from their office with hybrid working options. Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer Job Overview Produce designs using hand calculations or design software. Follow design standards including British Standards, Eurocodes, CIRIA, BRE, and NHBC. Ensure designs comply with internal QMS procedures and checking protocols. Manage projects of all sizes, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. Contribute to fee proposals and develop site investigation scopes. Lead site investigations from concept to completion. Coordinate with professionals and contractors as needed. Liaise with clients and design teams to meet project briefs, attending meetings as required. Work independently on smaller projects or collaboratively on larger schemes. Mentor less experienced team members.
Senior GeoEnvironmental Engineer Job Requirements Completion of Degree in relevant Engineering subject. Minimum 5 years' experience working in a similar engineering consultancy. Chartered geologist, Engineer or Scientist, or working towards it. Proficient in the use of software such as technical design packages including SlopeW (or similar), Holebase, etc. Proficient in foundation design and recommendations, earthworks, slope stability, and contaminated land risk assessment including remediation, DQRA, etc. CAT & Genny competence trained. QGIS. Full driving licence and use of a car.
