We’re excited to share that due to our continuous growth, we’re on the lookout for a new member to join our team as a Senior Grants Auditor, based in our Dundee Office. With a diverse portfolio of grants spanning prestigious public sector and commercial clients across Scotland, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity and fostering impactful relationships.

As a Senior Grants Auditor, your role will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of the grants managed by our Grants Team, along with providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring to the junior members of the team when needed. You will play a vital part in maintaining the financial health and accountability of the grants received by our clients.

As a Senior Grants Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

Plan and organise work on allocated grant audits

Responsible for all aspects of grants audit fieldwork remotely or onsite as required

Liaise with clients to gather documentary evidence, set up files, and address queries

Keep the grant partner updated on progress and draft audit reports

Review and clear trainee fieldwork before final review

Ensure all review points are addressed

Support team members with grant work and provide guidance on project rules

Attend meetings with new clients and handle grant-related queries

Participate in training and share knowledge with staff

Contribute to tenders and create content for website and LinkedIn

Now, let’s talk about you! The successful candidate will be:

Fully qualified (CA, ACCA, CIA or equivalent) or part qualified with an appropriate level of practical experience and exam success

Minimum two years of experience in accountancy practice, ideally in audit.

Grant audit experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided).

Strong numerical, data analysis, and communication skills (verbal and written).

Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues across sectors.

Client-focused, commercially aware, and organized under tight deadlines.

Solid technical knowledge with a proactive approach to CPD.

Committed to high personal and professional standards with task ownership.

Proficient in IT; experience with audit software is advantageous.
