Senior Graphic Designer

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a health and beauty business seeking a Senior Graphic Designer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company focused on nurturing high-growth and purpose driven brands. This is permanent role based in London.


Reporting into the President, the Senior Graphic Designer will lead the brand's visual identity and create distinctive designs across all consumer touchpoints. If you're a creative visionary with a strategic mindset and a passion for pushing design boundaries, we want to hear from you! This role offers a chance to shape the businesses visual narrative and significantly impact marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of experience in beauty or related sectors, either in-house or agency, and thrives on collaboration and strategic thinking. You'll work closely with marketing, sales, e-commerce, and CRM teams to ensure a cohesive brand identity.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design and produce marketing assets, social media graphics, and ad units for product launches and monthly campaigns.
  • Develop seasonal templates, invitations, and presentations for sales and marketing.
  • Conceptualize and execute 360° campaigns, leading pre-production and presenting concepts to stakeholders.
  • Design monthly website updates, product landing pages, and blog content.
  • Oversee packshot photography for new product launches and ongoing content, including post-production and asset management.
  • Create and edit paid and organic social media content, including GIFs, motion graphics, and short-form video.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to ensure high-quality, consistent content across all channels.
  • Design and update in-store displays and visuals in partnership with commercial and marketing teams.
  • Develop 2D retailer-facing communications and printed brand collateral.
  • Work closely with the New Product Development (NPD) team on packaging artwork.
  • Supervise part-time freelancers and work with design agencies to ensure efficiency and creativity in the design process.


What we are looking for?


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of graphic design experience, ideally in the beauty, consumer, or luxury industries, either at an agency or in-house.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge).
  • Experience with web and app design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and brand development experience.
  • Expertise in typography with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with best practices for image optimization, color profiles, and video formats.
  • Passion for staying updated on design trends and industry best practices.
  • Experience with motion graphics and After Effects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Shopify and HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and tracking skills.
