Location: Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, Birmingham

Salary: Band 6 (£37,338 - £44,962 per year)

Employment: Permanent - Full-time or Part-time options + flexible working

Role Overview:

As a Band 6 Haematology Senior Nurse or Sister/Charge Nurse, you will administer supportive therapies, provide compassionate care, and support patients and their families. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients, whilst supporting the department manager.

Responsibilities: Administering medication and other supportive treatments Monitoring patients' progress and managing any adverse effects Educating patients and families about treatment plans Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality care Participating in professional development and training programs

Requirements: 3 years post-qualification experience within cancer services Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register Passion for haematology and oncology nursing with a relevant qualification in the field Excellent communication and teamwork skills & teaching & assessing skills and experience
