Senior H&S Manager - Wolseley Group - Support Functions

In this role, you'll be responsible for: Lead the delivery of the Wolseley Ireland H&S strategy & programmes for the Wolseley group businesses within the island of Ireland (Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland). Work closely with the Managing Directors, Senior Management teams & Safety leads within respective businesses units to drive safety culture and performance. Identify further improvement opportunities within Wolseley Ireland and for applicability across Wolseley Group, supporting the Group Director of HSEQ in broader H&S team development and group processes. The role will report into the Group Director of HSEQ, have a dotted line reporting into the Group Managing Director of Wolseley Ireland and be an active member of the Wolseley Ireland management team. And here's what we'd like you to have: NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent level 6 qualification in H&S. Professional membership (CMIOSH or equivalent). H&S leadership experience working in a multi-site, fast moving environment within a large organisation. Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive and improve safety culture within a business. Comfortable and confident to create and execute a strategy. Passionate, enthusiastic with tenacity.
