An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated healthcare support workers to join our team in our Stour Centre at Ipswich hospital. Senior Healthcare Support Workers are a key part of our team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high quality care to our patients. Do you want to be part of a team with an excellent reputation for delivering a high standard of care, ensuring we keep our patients safe and that they have a positive experience under our care? Our Senior Healthcare Support Workers work a rota pattern, so you MUST be able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights and weekends including Bank Holidays. We are unable to offer set shifts patterns. This post will be available from the beginning of April 2025. To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Professional. To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines. To work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team. To work within the boundaries of the role of the HCA supporting more junior colleagues as required and refer to the Registered Nurse as appropriate. About us

Care certificate achieved or demonstrable relevant skills. Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent experience. Evidence of completed competencies as part of a professional portfolio. Evidence of functional skills or willingness to undertake. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
