Essential: UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client. Proven experience in leading and managing a range of Highways projects from conception to completion. Involvement in the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control and progress reporting. In-depth knowledge of highway design principles, standards and practices including alignment, grading, drainage, and pavement design. Skilled user of design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, Elected Members, stakeholders and team members/colleagues. Ability to prepare detailed reports, documentation and presentations. Understanding and appreciation of CDM regulations. HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline. A full UK driving licence is essential. Desirable: Work towards professional qualification (IEng / CEng) with the ICE / IHE / CIHT or similar. You'll get this and so much more...
