I have a rare opportunity for a Senior
Highways/Infrastructure
Engineer to join one of London's top design consultancies, to work on high-profile and exciting projects.
You will be joining an established team of civil engineers in a high spec office. This is an open plan office with several floors, situated near Old Street Station. You will be working in a team of 20 and will collaborate with the rest of the company which totals 180.
You will be working on a wide variety of projects, focused on highways design (S278, S38), using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will be Chartered with the ICE or nearing Chartered level.
You must be technically excellent and have a strong academic background from one of the top Universities. You should also have experience in managing/mentoring junior members of staff.
The company really looks after its own and has recently become an employee-owned trust; each team has a representative who will feed back to the trust on queries or ideas for the direction of the business.
The team feel is enhanced by weekly whole office meetings where engineers and technicians have the opportunity to discuss their projects and offer help and guidance to each other. A professional chef caters free lunches for the whole office twice a week, and more frequently for other CPD sessions as well.
In addition to a competitive basic salary (£50k - £55k) and excellent projects, employees receive: Pension scheme 23 days holiday as well as an extra 3 days at Christmas.
