Senior Hire Controller Job Role: On and off hires & x hiring from trusted partners Organising the servicing of machines Excellent time management and self-management skills are essential Dealing with customer site enquiries face to face, over the phone, and via emails Arranging the on and off hire of plant machinery Coordinating allocation of duties including some routing for drivers Chasing up all quotes or enquiries to maximise business and gain any x hire opportunities
This role offers progression and may suit a current Hire Controller who wishes to progress eventually to Plant Manager level.
To Be Successful as a Senior Hire Controller: You may have previous experience working as a Plant Hire Manager, Hire Manager, Hire Controller, Depot Manager, Branch Manager, Hire Negotiator, Plant Manager, or a Hire Supervisor. Knowledge of the hire industry, whether it be Heavy Plant, Plant Hire including Diggers, Dumpers, Dozers, or operated plant, is preferred.
