We are recruiting for a Senior HR Advisor on behalf of a dual-site manufacturing company in Hull who will be responsible for providing support, guidance and advice on their HR policies, procedures and best practices alongside HR generalist support including managing the full employee life cycle. Paying to £40,000 per year and offering career development and progression. As the Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key part in fostering a positive, collaborative and supportive culture and be looking to continually improve the employee experience. This is a stand-alone role and therefore the successful candidate must be an effective communicator, demonstrate experience of collaborating and engaging with teams remotely and in-person, showcase excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess a positive, supportive and proactive nature. As the Senior HR Advisor, you will be: The first point of contact for employees and managers regarding all people-related matters. Providing guidance, support and advice in line with their policies, procedures and best practices which will include absence, performance, disciplinary and grievances. Managing the employee life cycle from recruitment through to employment end. Responsible for operational duties including performance management and development, training, occupational health, employee engagement and employee relations. Responsible for the maintenance of HR systems and databases to ensure compliance with legal, health and safety and GDPR regulations. Preparing HR documents including offer letters, job descriptions, handbooks and changes to terms and conditions of employment. Supporting and administering payroll processing. Identifying people and employee engagement improvement opportunities, establishing action plans and ensuring completion of projects. Ensuring the company is compliant with employment law regulations. Helping to mitigate risk by integrating, enhancing, developing, managing and communicating an effective People Management system. Ensuring you stay up to date with relevant employment law changes. Requirements

To be considered as the Senior HR Advisor you will need: Proven experience as a HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager. CIPD Level 5 or 7. Excellent administrative, organisational and prioritisation skills. Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills. Excellent attention to detail skills with good analytical and problem-solving skills. To be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office programs. A good understanding of employment law, HR best practices and change management. Payroll processing experience. If you have experience from within manufacturing, that would be advantageous. On offer A salary of up to £40,000 per year. Free on-site car parking. Progression and development within this well-established and growing business.
