Consortium Professional Recruitment are proud to be partnering exclusively with this long-standing reputable business to recruit a HR professional to cover across 2 sites in Hull. You will work closely with the site manager in a generalist role over a 12 month period with support from the HR director. The role will be varied covering recruitment and selection, employee relations, onboarding, performance management, and projects. The succession candidate will have operated at senior advisor level or above to perform this role. Great opportunity to gain more exposure in a new sector. The Role Itself:
Stand alone role on site with wider HR team Manage the Time and Attendance system Contribute to policy and procedures across the business Work with line managers on recruitment and selection Provide advice and support on all employee relations Co-ordinate training needs Manage performance and capability Manage exit interview process when required Lead on projects across the sites Take the lead on culture initiatives, celebrating success and employee recognition Health and Safety co-ordination with senior management The Candidate:
A natural communicator with confidence and capability to deliver A proven track record management cases from disciplinary to performance Strong understanding of employment law ideally CIPD level 5 or equivalent Experience working in manufacturing or FMCG sectors would be advantageous Strong commercial acumen Can work in an autonomous role with a varied workload with support from HRD A good level of experience HR Advisor or above
