This role will be pivotal in supporting our people strategy, ensuring HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle add value, enhance employee experience, and empower our managers to effectively lead their teams. Key responsibilities include: Lead, advise and manage employee relations matters, including handling disputes, grievances, and disciplinary actions, in compliance with New Zealand employment law and company policies. Provide expert advice and guidance to management on employment relations issues, ensuring fair, transparent, and legally compliant processes. Act as a mediator in conflict resolution, ensuring timely and effective outcomes. Support managers with workforce planning, recruitment, and onboarding. Contribute to developing and implementing strategies for health, safety, and wellness initiatives. Collaborate on performance management tools and remuneration strategies. Promote and nurture a positive and high-performance workplace culture. Enhance HR policies and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture. Implement performance management tools and ensure fair and motivating remuneration practices. pūkenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employment relations and health and safety in New Zealand. In-depth knowledge of New Zealand employment law and health and safety regulations. Proven project management skills and the ability to lead HR initiatives. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. A detail-oriented, organized approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities with flexibility.
