About the role : This role offers a significant opportunity for a driven and dynamic HR professional to make an impact. As the Senior HR Manager / Director at CBTax, you'll shape the company’s culture and ensure that our HR strategies support our ambitious growth plans. You will lead the HR function through the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to development, and act as a strategic partner to senior leadership. Your expertise will help align our workforce with business objectives, promote employee engagement, and implement HR best practices across the organisation. This role balances strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations, and is pivotal in driving the company forward. In this role, you'll : Lead and oversee the HR function, managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development. Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, providing insights on organisational development, succession planning, and workforce management. Foster a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment by reviewing and refining HR policies. Address HR-related challenges, working closely with managers to align our workforce with company growth ambitions. Lead employee relations, overseeing complex HR issues, and providing guidance to enhance employee well-being. Maintain HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy for informed decision-making. Shape diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring CBTax remains a forward-thinking workplace. Mentor and lead the HR team, guiding them in implementing innovative HR solutions. Keep the executive team updated on HR initiatives, workforce trends, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, managing day-to-day HR operations. We're seeking someone with experience including : CIPD qualification with extensive experience in senior HR roles, ideally within financial services or professional services sectors. A proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, acting as the go-to person for employees and management on all HR matters. Experience in managing organisational change and driving cultural initiatives. Deep understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices. Ability to manage both high-level strategic projects and day-to-day HR operations effectively. Passion for building a high-performance culture, with a background in employee relations, talent management, and organisational development.
